The first Annual Training Conference of the Central European Association of Fire Investigators (CE-AFI) will take place on 26 September at Istituto di Scienze Forensi in Corsico, Milan. This newly formed association is a chapter for current members of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) but focused on those members living and working in Europe.

We are also pleased to announce that our Head of Institution, Mr Andreas Melinato, who is also 1st Vice-President of the Association, and our lecturer in Forensic Chemistry, Ms Filipa Belchior, will both attend the conference as speakers.
