Our team from the European Forensic Institute had the privilege of joining forces with SecurCube at the Forensics Europe Expo 2023 held at the ExCel London. We delivered a presentation about the innovative project we’ve embarked upon together: modernising forensic reports.

The talk, entitled “The forensic specialist’s report: key elements, compliance to international best practices, and shared knowledge,” centered around our mission to streamline investigative and reporting processes across diverse fields. By honing the process, we strive to yield high-quality, comprehensive, and insightful forensic reports that are primed for immediate use.

Meeting us at the Expo were our Lecturers based in Great Britain as well as representatives from the Malta Police Force.

During the presentation, we tackled the existing challenges in forensic reporting head-on. While there are certainly hurdles to overcome, we were excited to showcase the innovative solutions we’ve been developing. Among the critical areas discussed were the vital components of a modern forensic report, the necessity of compliance with international best practices, and the invaluable role of shared knowledge in forging stronger collaborations. The latter is crucial in uniting forensic practitioners, academia, regulators, judiciary, and law enforcement in a shared purpose.

We believe that the path to the future of forensic science lies in a shared vision and collective efforts, and our presentation was a testament to this conviction. The Forensics Europe Expo provided us with a unique platform to engage with other professionals in the industry, offering cutting-edge insights into the evolution of forensic reporting.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who participated and contributed to this insightful discourse.
