ABOUT OUR FORENSIC SCIENCE SCHOOL
Our innovative Higher Education Institution provides accredited courses to students and professionals in the field of Forensic Sciences. Our mission is to connect students directly to experts and practising professionals in the forensics field to ensure that their foundation is built upon knowledge, skills and competences required of a forensic science practitioner at the highest professional standards.
Our courses are delivered through our interactive Digital Campus, facilitating the transfer of knowledge in the most accessible and convenient manner for learners in the 21st century. Students are connected to their lecturers and materials at their fingertips and can start building their foundation in Techniques of Investigation, Criminology, Law and other theoretical aspects of all courses.
Students and lecturers meet at the state-of-the-art laboratory at Malta Life Sciences Park for their practical sessions to gain hands on experience in Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Biology and Chemistry, Fingerprint, Blood Splatter and Ballistics Analysis, among them.
In addition to traditional forensic science subjects, our students are also exposed to a range of pressing issues in the field of forensics such as Technology (Audio, Visual, Web and Data Science), and also Research Methods and Professional Ethics. Our diverse team of Academic Staff include professionals with experience in National Police Forces, the Fire Brigade, National Courts, Private Investigators and Industry Experts.
Our Higher Education Institution is fully accredited by the NCFHE in Malta and all our students are registered as Student Members of the Chartered Society of Forensic Science UK.
We offer awards and certificates to professionals in the forensic field. Our training programmes are tailored to suit your organisation's needs - be is crime scene investigations, evidence handling or digital forensics. If required, we can also perform gap analysis to identify where skills and competences may be improved.
Our students are high school or college leavers pursing higher education. We offer a full time 3-year undergraduate programme specialising in Forensic Science and Criminal Investigation. Our degree course follows the European Qualification Framework and is fully accredited by the National Commission of Further and Higher Education.

We aim to provide high quality education, training and professional services in Forensic Science to all the student willing to build with us a Justice System founded on scientific facts.
The Institute welcomes all applicants and operates a fair and transparent admission process; the admission office selects the future students on the basis of merit, ability and potential.
Entry requirements (minimum):
Maltese Matriculation Certification in relevant subjects (science and math preferred) or international equivalent - EQF Level 4 (example: Italian High School Diploma with minimum grade 60/100)
Two pure science subjects in Malta or international equivalent high school (EQF Level 3)
Any international recognised English Level Certification (minimum Level CEFR B1)
On occasion and when deem necessary, we may require a short interview with potential students. This will be communicated in advance and performed virtually in our Digital Campus.
Our application process is performed online and is open to all. Students are required to fill in an application form and submit it to us alongside a copy of their certifications (if possible). Candidates can submit their application also in case they have not obtained the required certification(s), but they must obtain them and send any required document(s) before September 1st, each academic year.
Our admission procedures ensure the fair and equitable treatment of all applicants with no exception. Once the Admission office has reviewed the applications, candidates will receive an official offer letter via email if they meet the entry requirements. To complete the enrolment process, it will be necessary to accept or decline the offer. In case the candidate accepts, the Institute will require a non-refundable registration fee (EUR300) to ensure the student a place in our course. Any other information about the school, the payments and the process to complete the enrolment procedure will be communicated via email.
